Great set of backstories to Ali & Covus’ tale!!

This novel was such a well written extension to the tale of Ali and Covus. The love and devotion Ali has for her dream beam is so pure and fresh. The fact she will do anything for the betterment of Covus’ life is heartwarming. Definitely want to read the next two books in the series.

I couldn’t put it down. I was so tripped by this story. As it has continued on its gets more harrowing. I fear for Alissandra and her siblings and her charge. She can defeat the evil that is trying to take over. Her sister helping her to escape is bittersweet. She loses so much to save and protect her charge. The Aunts …. not what you expected. Their role in this series brings a humorous light in the middle of all this frightful drama. It’s … they’re …refreshing. I hope you enjoy they’re continued journey was Ali tried to save her Movie and defeat her abusive and controlling father…don’t get me started on him. There’s not enough space or time. He makes me so angry I want to scream. Anyways … Another great band fulfilling novel from Ms Lee. Look forward to more!!!

This is my favorite book in the Sand Maiden series. This book is all about Alli’s life in dream, before she came to the Wake realm. Her struggles with her family are completely relatable and really direct her reactions in wake. *small spoiler*** The time sisters are amazing!!!!!

I really enjoyed reading this prequel to Lullaby! It was great being able to learn about Ali and how she ended up in Wake and why. I definitely recommend this book!
