I thought the first book was fantastic but this was too. I love the adventure Andy must endure. It captured me too. I don't think I slept waiting to see how.it all turns out. The challenges aren't easy for a boy. And to have to wait so long to get back to complete his mission was just enduring. Can't wait for the next version.

My 10- and 12-year-old boys absolutely love the Andy Smithson series. As soon as we finished reading Venom of the Serpent’s Cunning, they begged me to buy the third book to read to them (which I happily did because I’m enjoying the series, too!). There is lots of action and adventure, but since it’s aimed at a younger audience, it’s not too intense (which is not to say it is not scary or sad at times, because it definitely can be!). I highly recommend this book and the whole series to middle grade kids on up. It makes a great read-aloud!

As a senior citizen it probably seems weird that I enjoy youth and young adult books so much. Reading about Andy and his adventures searching for the means to lift the Curse was fun and fascinating. The author has a great imagination! My biggest dislike in any book is the proofreading errors.

Although I'm older, I still love to read fantasy and let my imagination run wild. With the way the book is written, it could be true! Andy is a character that i can relate to. This book a good read, full excitement, and wisdom. And it shows that you'll never know who your allies will be.

Awesome! I loved the new stuff that was added, the library was awesome! And Spark was pretty good too! I love how it showed Alden's caring nature a little more. Five stars, and I would recommend anyone read this!
